Shipping Policy
We offer free standard shipping on all U.S. orders of $75 or more.
At Birdside Nook, all products are made to order. Once you place your order, we begin processing and printing it before it is handed over to the shipping carrier. Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight, delivery location, and shipping method chosen for the order.
Processing Time
Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days. This production window happens before shipping begins.
During peak times (such as sales or holidays), processing times may be slightly longer, so we appreciate your understanding. We always strive to pack and ship your order as quickly as possible.
Shipping Methods & Estimated Transit Times
We offer several shipping options at checkout, depending on your order and delivery location:
- Free shipping (applies to orders $75+): typically 3-6 business days after processing is complete.
- Standard shipping: typically 3-6 business days after processing is complete.
- Express shipping: typically 2-3 business days after processing is complete.
Please note:
- Please note that delivery estimates shown at checkout refer to transit time only and do not include processing, printing, or packaging time.
- Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to the shipping carrier, especially during peak season, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
- Express Shipping is not available for PO Boxes.
- We currently only ship within the United States.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details. Tracking information may take some time to appear on the shipping carrier's system.
Weekend & Carrier Handling
Carriers generally operate on business days only and orders placed late in the day will begin processing the next business day. Orders completed on Saturday or Sunday are typically picked up by the carrier on Monday
Orders Containing Multiple Products
- Some orders may arrive in multiple packages.
- Items may be shipped in separate packages depending on the product type, packaging method, and fulfillment location.
- Some products, such as posters, canvas, and pillows, may be packaged separately and shipped on their own.
- When an order includes multiple different product groups, shipping charges will be calculated based on the shipping structure that applies to each group.
Changes & Cancellations
If you wish to cancel or change your order, please contact us immediately. Requests must be submitted as early as possible. Product details can only be changed before the order enters production. Shipping address or shipping method may still be updated before the order has shipped, depending on the order status. Once the order has been processed, it cannot be canceled.
Incorrect Address
If you entered the wrong shipping address and need to update it, please email support@birdsidenook.com as soon as possible with “Change order shipping address” in the subject line. Include your order number and the correct shipping address in the email body. We’ll do our best to update it, but changes depend on the stage of your order’s processing.
Once an order has shipped, address changes are no longer possible through us. You may contact the carrier directly to see whether they can assist. Customers are responsible for entering the correct address at checkout and we cannot communicate with the carrier on your behalf.
Please ensure your shipping address is correct as we are not responsible for incorrect addresses or lost packages due to an incorrect shipping address.
My order should be here by now, but I still don’t have it. What should I do?
Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:
- Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address.
- Ask your local post office if they have your package.
- Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them.
Pro tip: Package theft is on the rise— If you’re expecting a home delivery and you know you won’t be home to accept it, use an address where you know you’ll be!
If your package is genuinely lost in transit or has no tracking movement for an extended period, please contact us and we will review the situation.
